Entry: shopping !!! Monday, May 17, 2004



phew - shopping is exhausting - mentally and weight-wise !! (yeah - my wallet got really light). bought a suit - black zipper with a flashy violet Zod shirt :D. occasion - my sis' wedding coming up (yippieee!!).

the suit was pretty expensive - thats why i dont go for shopping. the things which i like turn out to b pretty expensive - and plus - if i set my heart on 1 thing, money doesnt come in my way of purchasing it :D. i buy it nyways and regret it later on.

ps: saw an MTV langoor today (read as VJ) - dont recall his name (not nikhil - goes to show havent seen MTV for over 2 yrs now :D). was sipping coffee at our usual coffee place - a roadside cycle-coffee wala - a place for cheap coffee and fag.

read ur post abt trekking. Its not really expensive, unless u go thru one of these adventure tourism gangs.

just buy the required stuff, pressure cooker, kerosene (or LPG) stove, sleeping bags, backpacks, food, shoes, socks, undies, first aid stuff, sleeping mat, warm socks and go. When u get there, hire a guide/cook and u guys can trek in style. B-)

google up the uttaranchal tourism offices, and call them up or simply send them a letter for more details. They are very helpful inspite of them being a govt office. They can arrange for a guide/cook for u ppl, and can also reserver more specialised equip like crampons and ice axes and tents (if reqd). So where r u off to now ? job ? schol ?

man...everytime i shop for readymade clothing, i regret buying them cause they never fit later on :'(

u bought a zod shirt?!. wow man thats pretty expensive (4 digit price tags!) but shadii may paison ko kaun izzat deta hai....jus enjoy!. i suggest this is the right time n excuse to buy a cell too! ;) or a guitar???

Was it Purab, from Channel V?? He hee. i love the guy. Think he's the most handsome, sexy & sweet guy on Indian TV. I totally love him. So anyway...dude, what u getting ur sister for a wedding present?? U have to give her one u know & it can't be the cheap rakhi type shit u've been giving her all ur life!
