it's time to say goodbye (no no - not to blogging :D) - to bombay :(( will miss this place. these have been the best yrs of my life - hope the coming 2 yrs at banglore are even better :)
and for the past 1 week, have been trying to pass as much time as possible with my friends - hence the "stepped out" mesg on my ym (if u r on my coveted ym-list :P) - eating out, playing cards till the wee hrs in the morning, tried a bit of "juaa"(not exactly juaa but still played for money) and ended up loosing big time :D.
and packing sucks!!! not becoz i hate packing - but becoz most of my stuff is generally covered with a layer of dust - so have to clear all that - ended up coughing the whole day today. why clean at all u mite ask..well, mom-dad are coming down to banglore and will be staying with me for a few days before i join (since they wouldnt be able to come for my convocation - even i wouldnt be able to attend my own convocation) - and if my mom sees the condition of my stuff - wuhuuu!!! 2-3 hrs of lecturebaziiiee!!! :D ny sane person will do the same what i'm doing (that proves i'm sane enough!!).
and also have to start on my operation "no-sutta".still have to decide when to commence on this project.my daily thought process:
morning time: "aaj koi sutta nahin"
noon time: "why am i feeling weird??"
afternoon time: X:"oye tomsingh!! sutta-chai at main gate??"
me:"what the heck!! yeah am coming"
night time:"kal se no more" :D

"accept" - a word so commonly used - yet people hardly ever let it sink in !! come to think of it - the world would be a better place if :
- we accept that life is not easy.
- parents accept that their children dont want to be some kinda super-achiever.
- kids accept that their parents' behaviour is always in their interest.
- people accept that everyone has the right of having a different point of view (esp. in the matter of religion).
- teachers accept that some kids are not as bright as others.
- grownups accept that kids go through rough phases when they might act rebellious.
- we accept that life has it's ups-and-downs.
- we accept that love is not ever-lasting.
- we accept stress as an integral part of life.
- we accept change!!!
the list is endless.

got thru IIMB *yuhuuuu* (was in the waiting-list - now the waiting is over :D).
the last 15 days have been a whirlwind. firstly got another job in Cadbury's (abb free ke chocs nahin milenge :( ) - i had to sit down and think whether or not to join IIMB becoz the pay-package cadbury's was offering was quite tempting (it was a management training prog - same shit as iim only).
then went home for 6 days for my sis' wedding - loads of masti - meeting people - taking care of the baratees (we used to sneak out and boozed - plus had to pay for the booze from my own pocket becoz cudnt ask for that money from dad since he kept accnt of all the expenses - so am now truly broken) - also boozed on our roof - at 3 in the morning - with jijaji and my sis joining in !! lit up quite a few fags too - my sis wasnt impressed - am going to get an earfull from her when she gets back from her honeymoon :D(she didnt know that i fagged. my parents dont know nything :D). and there were glitches too - relatives showing up late for receptions and mom-dad loosing their tempers and my purse being flicked during the marraige (along with 2 mobiles of jijaji's relatives - the thief choose a really appropriate moment when we all were standing in a crowd arnd the fire!!!).
and finally when i landed back here today - got a mail from iimb saying i been selected!!! so now 2 more yrs of college, slogging and kadki :((

inspite of the thumbs down given by people - still went out to see this movie. and if u ask my opinion - i liked it!!! (sans the fight-sequence and the fake bengali accent (if u think i'm a punjabi - sorry baby - am a bengali :P) and i get really pissed off when someone talks like that on the screen :D).
and what did i like about it??!!! well - it's story is better than the run-of-the-mill mushy-mushy luv stories (which i hate btw. till date i havent seen lagaan, gadar, KKHH,... the list is quite huge if u get the drift :D). no1 has appreciated the fact that ratnam actually used the movie to convey to us (yeah - us - the literate youth ) that we r also part of this country and we shudnt shun away our civic (& political) duties!! and the luv-stories : spicings so that the movie doesnt seem too "bland". the movie wudnt b a hit becoz it doesnt appeal to all the sections of the society (like DCH) - but i guess ratnam made his pt. (and it wasnt very hard to get :D).
ps: ques : if we consider hit hindi movies - most of them revolve arnd love stories. still kissing on the screen hasnt started !! why?? is it becoz it's unacceptable? if yes - then r we the biggest hypocrites in this world?

this thing...called life ..*wuhuu*
i just cant handle it !!!
this thing called life ...
i must get round to it !!
i ain't ready ..
crazy little thing called life ..
everything was planned out - presentation on 24th, reaching home on 26th, sis' marraige on 29th and reception on 31st then masti !!!! but fate had to play it's part (nahin nahin, zyada damage nahin hua).
my examiner got some last-min call from the HR-min (yeah the dreaded MMJ's ex-deptt (wuuhuu for the "ex"!!)) - and he wudnt b here on 24th !!!!! "so presentation guya bhad main ??!!" i wish!!!
now it's scheduled on 3rd june - means i have to pack my bags as soon as the reception is over and come back here to dance in front of a different party (i think our profs r sadists - njoy watching the poor kids wrench in front of their barrage of ques). i wudnt b staying home for even 1 whole week - add to that havent been home for over a yr now. ohh i hate my fate !!! ny1 knows how to change it??

phew - shopping is exhausting - mentally and weight-wise !! (yeah - my wallet got really light). bought a suit - black zipper with a flashy violet Zod shirt :D. occasion - my sis' wedding coming up (yippieee!!).
the suit was pretty expensive - thats why i dont go for shopping. the things which i like turn out to b pretty expensive - and plus - if i set my heart on 1 thing, money doesnt come in my way of purchasing it :D. i buy it nyways and regret it later on.
ps: saw an MTV langoor today (read as VJ) - dont recall his name (not nikhil - goes to show havent seen MTV for over 2 yrs now :D). was sipping coffee at our usual coffee place - a roadside cycle-coffee wala - a place for cheap coffee and fag.
update: woh langoor cyrus S tha :D

my work's stuck becoz of some painfull official procedures - "yahan se "no dues" certi laoo", "aaj joh certi issue karega woh kaam pe nahin aaya, kal aana" - grrr...imagine - waking up @ 11 in the morning to drag ur ass arnd and ending up with no progress at the end :P. and it's been the same story for the last 3 days.
and damn - BJP's out - congress is in !!! and now congress is gonna lick it's votebank's feet (which r not ours) and shower subsidies and all. there was also some talk of reservations in private sector!!! kuch toh chod do humare liye bhai (ok - no offense but the total funda of reservation on the basis of caste is absurd to me. agreed- it still matters in the villages - but get them educated first instead of making more and more "categories" !!!). waise earlier in school - used to consider IAS as an option - wanted to change the whole "system" so as to say. but "butter-maarna" is not exactly my forte - i hate having to suck upto someone for some work - to some people, it comes naturally!! not me. and i hate people who suck upto me (yeah - merese bhi logon ko kabhi kabar kaam pad jaata hai. dont wanna discuss all the pros and cons - am already fed up of that - having discussed enuf on the mess table :D.
saw 2 movies yesterday nite - back to back. "the girl next door" - elisha cuthbert looks hot*drools*. total timepass movie - just shut off ur brain and lay back and njoy. the other one - "grease" - john travolta surely looks young. old apunke-bolly-style main holly movie - with dance sequences and all.
